CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY - MONDAY, JULY 26
The Safe Harbor Resale Shop (2111-J N. Pleasantburg Dr. Greenville, SC) will be having a "Customer Appreciation Day" on Monday, July 26.  Everything in the store will be 50% off on this day, with new merchandise coming out daily!  Light refreshments will be served, and there will be a drawing for a $50 gift certificate.  Please support Safe Harbor and get some great deals by shopping at the Resale Shop on July 26!  Store Hours: 10:00am-6:00pm, Mon-Sat.

"A FEW LILIES PROJECT" - AUGUST 5-21 IN GREER
The Bird & Baby Theatre Co. is producing the one act play, I Dream Before I Take the Stand by Arlene Hutton. In addition to this powerful play, local playwright Anne Pecaro has been commissioned by The Bird & Baby Theatre Co. to create new monologues based on the stories of domestic abuse survivors from Safe Harbor.

The Few Lilies Project exists to promote awareness of the issue of domestic violence and raise money for Safe Harbor. Through the theatre production and the accompanying art exhibit, the audience will be confronted with the issue in a unique way, and will be provided with the opportunity to contribute additional funds, above the initial ticket price, directly to Safe Harbor.

"MY GIRLFRIEND'S CLOSET" AT THE UPSTATE WOMEN'S SHOW - AUGUST 26-28 IN GREENVILLE
The Upstate Women’s Show at the Carolina First Center in Greenville will be an entertaining and educational three days of fun for women of the Upstate! This year’s Show will feature fashion, accessorizing, cooking, reading, health and wellness, decorating and so much more. The Upstate Women's Show will feature a special exhibit benefitting Safe Harbor called "My Girlfriend's Closet" - an accessory swap where you can bring hats, purses, jewelry, scarves and other accessories, donate them, and pick new accessories out of other “girlfriends’” donated items. ALL proceeds go directly to benefit Safe Harbor. You can either bring your accessories to the Safe Harbor Resale Shop located at 2111J N. SAFE HARBOR RUN - APRIL 17, 2010
The 2010 Harbor Run took place on April 17, 2010 in Greenville.  A record number of runners and walkers participated, and $19,771.00 was raised for Safe Harbor.  The run started and ended at the Greenville Drive Ballpark, followed by a silent auction and after-party at Smiley's Acoustic Cafe in downtown Greenville.  Many thanks to all volunteers and participants and to our sponsors who made this event possible: Fleet Feet, Bi-Lo, Entercom, Hitachi, Highland Center for Women, Piedmont Natural Gas, Propel HR, Roy Metal Finishing, SKIRT magazine, Smiley's Acoustic Cafe, Sullivan Insurance, Verizon, & Visual Image Salon.

 



SAFE HARBOR CYCLE TOUR - JUNE 5, 2010
The 2010 Cycle Tour took place on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Iva, SC.  Approximately 230 cyclists participated in the 25-mile and 65-mile courses, followed by lunch & music at the Iva Civic Center.  Approximately $20,243 was raised for Safe Harbor through this event.  Safe Harbor appreciates all of the Cycle Tour volunteers and participants and would like to express a special thanks to our Cycle Tour sponsors: Town of Iva, Foothills Community Foundation, ANMED Health, Wachovia Bank, People's Bank, Francena & Winston Floyd, BB&T, Trammell Law Firm, Kohls, Anderson Opthamology, Winnie Williams, Anderson Radiology/Oncology, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Emedia Group, First Citizens Bank, AMC Investments, Francis Produce, Dr. Marshall Meadors, Willow Creek Living Center, McDougald Funeral & Cemeteries, Great Escape, & Annaliza & Kirk Moorehead.




SAFE HARBOR "LINKS OF HOPE" GOLF TOURNAMENT - JUNE 12, 2010
