Safe Harbor Oconee Shelter Campaign

For immediate release – January 2, 2014

On March 1, 2013, Safe Harbor launched a capital campaign to raise funds to open a 24-hour emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children in Oconee County. Safe Harbor is grateful for the generosity of all community members, businesses, faith communities and groups who have pledged their support toward the Oconee Shelter to date.

On Friday, January 10 at 11:00am, Safe Harbor will host a press conference at the Oconee County Sherriff’s Office/Law Enforcement Center (300 S. Church Street, Walhalla SC) to give a capital campaign progress report and to share news related to the future of the Oconee Shelter.
Members of the press and community members are invited to attend.
