How does the world look from another’s perspective – particularly from the view of a woman who is experiencing interpersonal violence?
A revolutionary community education tool, In Her Shoes allows us to temporarily experience life as a woman experiencing violence. It is an interactive, 1 hour long educational exercise used in a workshop setting to help us connect to the day-to-day reality for women experiencing interpersonal violence, deepen our empathy and compel us to take action. Participants move, do, think and experience the lives of battered women.
If you would like to bring In Her Shoes to your home, workplace, social group, faith community, or school group, please contact Amanda Manly with any questions at 864-385-7947 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
