Education and Outreach
We think it’s important to teach the public—parents, children, community groups, businesses, faith communities and professionals who deal with the victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. A key part of our mission is coordinating a sustained effort to reduce domestic violence in the Upstate.
Staff members are available to discuss a range of topics and to offer domestic violence education and information about Safe Harbor’s services through speaking engagements, professional trainings, workshops and awareness campaigns. Education and outreach is also provided through Safe Harbor’s brochures and written materials, website, blog, newsletters, press releases and social media outlets.
Check our calendar to see what’s coming up. To schedule a presentation for your group, class, business or church, contact Julie Meredith, our Volunteer & Communications Director.
