The Megan Project

The Megan Project works to end relationship abuse and violence among teens. The curriculum focuses not only on dating violence, but also on good relationships, self-esteem, communication and other subjects that are vital to happy, healthy teens.

We teach the difference between love and controlling behavior, using the school system and community organizations - such as church youth groups and the Girl Scouts - to deliver our message for self-respect and against abuse.

The Megan Project was created in the memory of 18-year-old Megan Ridgeway, an Upstate teen who was murdered by her boyfriend. For more information or to schedule a Megan Project program, contact Britteni O'Cain, our Megan Project Educator.
