Safe Harbor is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which provides safe shelter, counseling and advocacy for victims of domestic violence and provides leadership for education and prevention efforts throughout its four-county area - Anderson, Greenville, Oconee and Pickens, South Carolina. Safe Harbor is a community catalyst, inspiring and collaborating with the community to break the cycle of domestic violence and achieve a safe and nurturing community for all families. Safe Harbor offers a continuum of services, including: safe emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, teen dating violence prevention and community outreach and education in our four-county area of South Carolina. We have two unmarked, confidential emergency shelters in Greenville and Anderson with controlled access and 24/7 staffing.

If you’re a victim needing shelter, we’ll give you and your children a place to sleep, a place at the table and the comforts of home. If you are a victim or survivor of domestic violence and are not seeking shelter, we also have counseling and legal advocacy services available. All of our services are free of charge. Trained staff and volunteers can help you to identify your needs, create a safety plan and set goals for the future. We’ll help you put the pieces of your life back together, make sense of your past and determine next steps.
