About Us

Safe Harbor is a private, non-profit agency, part of a state and national network. We run 24/7 because that's the way domestic violence works, staffing a 24-hour crisis line, shelters in Greenville and Anderson, and emergency room services for victims.

We have 15 full-time staff,  26 part-time staff and over 200 volunteers, including our board of directors. Together, we provide temporary safe shelter for women and children, support services and advocacy, and education and outreach in the Upstate. Together,we make a real difference for women who've been battered or abused, making them feel safe, helping them heal, and giving them the support they need to start new lives.
