About Us

Safe Harbor is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence in the upstate of South Carolina.  We provide safe emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and community outreach and education in Greenville, Pickens, Anderson, and Oconee counties.  We run 24/7 because that's the way domestic violence works, staffing a 24-hour crisis line, shelters in Greenville and Anderson, and emergency room services for victims.

We have approximately 18 full-time staff,  20 part-time staff and over 200 volunteers, including our board of directors. Together,we make a difference for victims of domestic violence and their children, providing them with safety and resources, helping them to heal, and giving them the support they need to start new lives.
