A survivor-led support group for women who have experienced abuse or control in a relationship or marriage
Monday Evenings, 6:00-7:30pm
Fourth Presbyterian Church – Jr. High Youth Room
703 E. Washington St. Greenville SC 29601
(Parking lot on the corner of Pettigru and Manly Streets)
** No group on Mondays, May 29, July 3 or July 24 2017 (due to holidays and church conflicts)
This confidential support group is for women who have experienced domestic abuse to gain support from one another. This group is led by survivors with a focus on positive support and encouragement. Participants will not be asked to share details of their abuse but rather to explore the impact it has had on their lives and to work towards healing and hope in a supportive environment. Anyone who is currently experiencing abuse or who has experienced abuse in a past relationship is welcome to attend. This group is conducted in English. Onsite childcare is available during the group.
** The church parking lot is on the corner of Pettigru and Manly Streets. Please plan to park in the parking lot and enter through the double glass doors (overflow parking is also available on the street or at the Poinsett Club next door). The Jr. High Youth Room is on the basement floor – to the left and down the stairs or elevator after you enter the glass doors. Childcare volunteers will greet participants and will direct you where to go (and show you where childcare will be for those who bring their children).
