How to Start Services

Reaching out for help is a courageous step to take. Safe Harbor provides a continuum of services to survivors of domestic abuse and their children in our service area which includes Greenville, Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties. All of our services are confidential and free of charge.

How to Start Services

To seek emergency shelter, please call our 24/7 helpline at 1.800.291.2139 (select option "1" to speak with someone.) Please note it may take several rings for someone to answer your call, as we often experience a high call volume. Visit our Get Help page to learn more about what to expect when you call us.

If you are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing and would like to call the helpline, call 711 (Relay SC) and tell the operator to call 1-800-291-2139 to speak with someone at Safe Harbor.

To seek community-based services (non-shelter services including counseling, advocacy, classes, assistance with an Order of Protection), please complete an online intake for community services. Please provide a safe way for us to contact you by phone (with voicemail) or email. Once you have submitted an online intake, you should hear back from our staff within five business days to set-up your first appointment.

If you need emergency shelter or if you have not heard back from our staff within five business days, please call our 24/7 helpline at 1.800.291.2139 (select option 1 to speak with someone.)
