by Samantha Tucker, Grants Manager at Safe Harbor
As the manager of grants at Safe Harbor, I spend a lot of time with statistics – both external statistics based on research and internal statistics based on our agency’s work. Often, both types of data anchor me into the greater work of addressing violence against women. As we officially close out 2017, I wanted to share a brief review of Safe Harbor’s work from throughout the year. While sheer numbers cannot capture the beating heart of our work, it does illustrate the general volume of victims served by Safe Harbor and their steps toward healing from the violence and trauma.
