Let me tell you, the most important thing that I have found is the capability to hold on to hope.
In the beginning, every time I saw him or his car, I was terrified. “Is this the day he kills me?”
Regardless of the type; whether the abuse be mental, physical, emotional, or a combination of each; you are not alone.
Please do not be discouraged by your present challenges and don’t feel abandoned. There is a survival instinct in every living creature. This is how hope stays alive.
