I am not just a survivor of domestic violence. I AM a conqueror! I have decided to make it my life’s mission to not only conquer within my personal life but also help others conquer as well. Conquering for me means not allowing my past hurts to rule in my life today. It means giving myself time to process and heal from what tried to prevent me from moving forward. It means healing from the inside out and beginning to reaffirm who I am.
Not only am I a conqueror, but I am also resilient! I was able to bounce back several times from the hurt, pain, disappointment and abuse that tried to hold me back from my God given purpose. I was determined to have a healthy household not only for myself but also for my daughter.
I am also fearless, because I have decided that life, my life in particular is precious and worthy of stepping out and using my voice to tell everyone my story.
I AM A CONQUEROR!! I AM RESILIENT! I AM FEARLESS! I AM PRECIOUS! I AM WORTHY!
